Conservative Treatments

conservative treatments1.jpg

Conservative treatments are treatments that preserve the natural structure of the tooth as much as possible and clean and repair decayed or damaged areas. The most common method is dental fillings.

In cases such as decay or fracture, the damaged tissue is cleaned and the tooth is reconstructed with a filling material that is aesthetically and functionally appropriate. Thanks to these treatments, tooth loss is prevented and the life of the tooth is extended.

What Do Conservative Treatments Include?

  • Caries cleaning and filling applications

  • Correction of tooth color and shape disorders with fillings

  • Repair of tooth wear or fractures

Modern filling materials provide an aesthetic appearance by matching the natural color of the tooth. If necessary, local anesthesia is applied to make the procedure painless.

Conservative treatments performed at the right time prevent the need for further procedures (root canal treatment, extraction, etc.).
